The feature film produced by Beyond Dreams is India's first creature film called Kaalo. The story of Kaalo is loosely based on a folktale and revolves around a 250-year desert witch. Kaalo has been shot in complete daylight. Directed by VFX whiz kid Wilson Louis this horror flick is release this winter.
Kaalo
Kaalo is the first ever day horror in World cinema. The story of this creature horror has been inspired by an Indian folktale. Shot extensively in the deserts of Rajasthan this film is about a 250-year-old desert witch called Kaalo.
Synopsis:
Over two centuries have passed since the evil witch 'Kaalo' was stoned to death by angry villagers of a desert village called Kulbhatta' in Rajasthan (India). But the belief and fear of Kaalo rising from the dead makes the villagers abandon the village forever. It is said that obody has ever dared to venture into Kulbhatta until a fatefulday when a bus carrying 13 passengers take that route by default unaware of the aunting desertwitch Kaalo. The horryfying story unfolds as the bus enters the cursed land.
